Cookie Policy

Effective date: 1 March 2026 · Last updated: 25 March 2026

What are cookies and local storage?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. Local storage is a similar mechanism built into your browser that allows websites to store small amounts of data locally on your device. Both serve functional and analytical purposes.

Revenue Cone uses a minimal set of these technologies. We only store what is necessary for the platform to work correctly and to improve your experience. We do not use advertising cookies or sell any data to third parties.

What we store and why

Authentication sessionEssential
TypeHttpOnly cookieDurationSession / configurable

Keeps you signed in to the Revenue Cone dashboard. This is an essential cookie. Without it, you cannot log in. It is set as HttpOnly (not accessible to JavaScript) and Secure (only sent over HTTPS).

CSRF protection tokenEssential
TypeCookieDurationSession

Protects form submissions and API requests from cross-site request forgery attacks. This is a security-essential cookie required for the platform to operate safely.

Theme preferencePreference
TypeLocal storage (revcone_theme)DurationPersistent

Remembers whether you chose Light, Dark, or System (auto) display mode. Without this, your theme preference resets on every page load. No personal data is involved.

Page analyticsAnalytics
TypeFirst-party (server-side)DurationSent on navigation

Records anonymous page views (path, referrer, timestamp) to help us understand how visitors use the marketing site. No cookies are set. Data is sent to our own servers only, not to third-party analytics providers.

Core Web VitalsAnalytics
TypeFirst-party (server-side)DurationSent on load

Reports performance metrics (LCP, CLS, TTFB, FCP, INP) to our own servers to help us diagnose and improve page load speed. No cookies are set and no personal data is collected.

What we do not use

We do not use:

  • Advertising or tracking cookies from any third party (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, etc.)
  • Cross-site tracking technologies
  • Fingerprinting or device identification beyond what is strictly necessary for security
  • Persistent analytics cookies from third-party providers (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)

Managing your preferences

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Note that clearing essential cookies (authentication, CSRF) will sign you out of the platform and you will need to log in again.

To clear only the theme preference, you can open your browser's developer tools, navigate to Application → Local Storage, and delete the revcone_theme key.

Most browsers also allow you to block cookies entirely or prompt you before accepting them. Visit aboutcookies.org for guidance on managing cookies in popular browsers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when the most recent revision was made. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the platform.
